York Region District School Board’s yorkworks division that help unemployed or underemployed individuals get back into the job market has a women’s program called FOCUS that specifically helps women who have been out of work make an easy transition back to the workforce.
On Wednesday, March 10th, yorkworks will be hosting a networking event to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Most of these women have been out of the work force for a long time and want to make an easy transition into the job market with the support of successful women who inspire them. yorkworks would like to help them by sharing experiences and give them a chance to BELIEVE!

An effective business case is an analytical tool that demonstrates the value created by an investment – for the organization, for its customers or for the public. It provides decision makers with a clear understanding of the project scope, the stakeholders involved, and the cost-benefit implications.
This course provides an overview of developing and presenting a persuasive business case. It is structured over 2 days. Day one covers fundamental business case concepts and processes which are applied in Day Two through group exercises.
