The Sandgate fundraiser organized by our members was a complete success. Members raised over $500 through the sales of their products and services, as well as items sold via the silent auction. A trunkful of toys and a bed were also donated.
Many of our members showcased their businesses at a mini-exhibition. Over 35 people showed up, notwithstanding a very short notice. Several prizes were raffled off. By far, the most popular item was a $10 gift certificate to the Wild Wing at Elgin Mills and Leslie.
