Often an Interior Designer can be confused with an Interior Decorator. The roles, although overlapping, are very different in comparison. An Interior Designer can provide you with a full scope of work for your renovation project from start to finish, offer you guidance on electrical plans, plumbing fixtures, finishings and furniture. Interior Designers will provide a set of working drawings for your contractor to construct from. These working drawings can include partition types and locations, instructions on specifications and installation procedures, recessed lighting and electrical switching locations, plumbing fixture specifications and wall and floor finishes along with an abundance of other pertinent information to the construction of the project. Interior Designers will follow through your project from a demolition plan to assisting you in decorating the space.
